Katy Perry ate. She prayed. She climbed a volcano and Tweeted about it.
The 27-year-old California gurl took some time away from the stage (and John Mayer) to get her travel on. And her transcendental meditation apparently.
Wearing a backpack and posing in front of a mountain sunrise, she wrote:
"I ate, I prayed. I climbed a volcano."
No word on the location of the image above, but her previous Tweets indicate she's on a spiritual journey of sorts. "I can feel the Phoenix rising," Perry wrote.
Next on the pop star's agenda will be 30 Days to Victory, a fundraising concert in L.A. October 7 to support President Barack Obama's 2012 presidential bid.
In that regard, she joins an elite list of supporters. Eddie Vedder performed at an Obama fundraiser last night, while Beyonce and Jay-Z just hosted a dinner.
