The Germanna Community College?s annual Educational Foundation Golf Tournament held in September will help raise money for college needs.
The event will take place at the Fredericksburg Country Club, 11031 Tidewater Trail in Fredericksburg, on Sept. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
?Those who have played in past years will know that this is a particularly beautiful course with excellent banquet facilities and an outstanding catering staff,? wrote Chris Hallberg, golf tournament chairman, in an open letter to potential supporters.
Hosted by the Germanna Educational Foundation, this annual event also allows the college to ?connect with and recognize those who are such an important part of Germanna?s success,? a statement on Germanna?s website reads.
To enter, individual golfers must pay $125 and other sponsorships are also available.
